We have this page so we can explain and clarify the need for fundraising.
We have 2 different types of fundraising:
League wide fundraising and Team Fundraising. All Competitive teams must fundraise, all the non competitive teams have the option to fund-raise.
League Wide Fundraising is when the entire league fundraises for league equipment, uniforms, and extra unexpected expenses that are not covered by the annual budget.
Competitive Team Fundraising is for each individual competitive teams:
Cheerleading: Mity Mite, Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Varsity and Varsity
Football: 8U, 10U,12U,14U, Unlimited.
Each team must fund-raise in order to off set the travel/registration costs for competitions/Superbowl. For an example both football and cheerleading have the opportunity to compete in Pop Warner Nationals in Florida at Disney. So if a team is hoping to qualify they will plan to fund-raise to assist with the expenses to the trip to Nationals.
There are forms the league uses to track the fundraising: Competitive Fundraising Form and Opt Out of Fundraising Form.
